Hello! I’m Rahul Chanda, a passionate Software Developer currently working at Wipro, with a strong foundation in full-stack development using JavaScript, React.js, and Java. While Java remains my core strength and area of interest, I’m also comfortable working with Python, C/C++, and Linux, with a growing focus on Data Structures and Algorithms. I completed my schooling at Ravinda Vidya Mandir High School, situated in Hojai district. It was affiliated with the SEBA board. I excelled in science, maths, and English,I moved to a different place to complete my 12th grade in science.

2020

Pandu College

Following my schooling, I pursued my 12th-grade science education at Pandu College, affiliated with the AHSEC board, located in Guwahati.

Guwahati University

I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Applications from Guwahati University, where I studied core subjects such as programming, databases, operating systems, and software development, and completed my degree with a CGPA of 7.1.

𝐒𝐰𝐢𝐠𝐠𝐲 - 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐁𝐨𝐲 🚲

While completing my BCA, I started working as a Swiggy delivery partner from July 2023, delivering orders on a cycle 🚲 to support my family. This phase taught me the value of small earnings, patience, and real-life responsibility. It helped me build resilience, time management, and kept me focused on returning stronger to the tech field.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐲 - 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐫

After my Swiggy role, I worked as a General Manager at The Detailing Company. I was responsible for managing daily operations, coordinating with customers, supervising staff, and handling service schedules. I also maintained inventory and tracked records using Excel to ensure a smooth workflow. Alongside this, I stayed focused on upskilling myself in the tech field, actively preparing for internships and jobs, as my true interest and focus lie in building a career in technology.

Sep 2024 - Feb 2025

𝐂-𝐃𝐚𝐜 - 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩

After enhancing my skills, I secured an internship at C-DAC in High Performance Computing with AI, where I gained hands-on experience in Java, Python, Linux, C, C++, and Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA). The program offered a perfect blend of theory and real-world application, including direct access to some of India’s fastest supercomputers. This journey not only deepened my understanding of cutting-edge technologies but also strengthened my passion and readiness for a career in tech.

With a clear vision and relentless dedication, I set my sights on joining Wipro — and after months of focused preparation, clearing the exam, interviews, and completing the pre-skilling training, I proudly joined as a Junior Software Developer in July 2025. This achievement is a milestone in my journey, and I’m deeply grateful to Wipro for trusting my potential and giving me this platform. It’s the beginning of a new chapter, and through this portfolio, I’ll continue sharing my learnings, work, and growth. Thank you for being a part of my journey.
